All the Libertarian has to do it carry the state, and s/he gets the electoral votes.

Ben came up with this idea because he's a Libertarian, and it irks him that Libertarians, and other third party candidates, never get Electoral votes under the winner-take-all system.

Sometime he's going to have to determine whether being a Libertarian means having a party affiliation, a set of ideas and beliefs, or both.

As a set of beliefs, free market economics as represented by the Austrian School is an essential part, IMO. The following is a quick overview -
