Thanks Brian, I seem to be having trouble with those links but I appreciate your efforts. Do I need to get together with my friend who has the Chinese version of Microsoft software loaded on her computer? I just see little squares in the body of the articles.

There was another story in Silicon Strategies about Vanguard and SST earlier today:

siliconstrategies.com

Vanguard International Semiconductor, in which TSMC owns a 25 percent stake, also announced expansion plans this week, saying it will join with Silicon Storage Technology to build a 300-mm wafer foundry in Hsinchu, Taiwan, focusing on flash memory.

As I said in my earlier post, however, I won't count on any new foundry until I hear an announcement from SST. Nevertheless, I still like SSTI's prospects with or without an agreement with Vanguard. Thanks again for the links.

Best, Huey
