earlie, i have a better summary of what i said over on mb thread to your request for feedback.

i think peter lynch made a valuable contribution when he said (paraphrasing) "the best investments can be summarized to a fifth grader in a short paragraph."

i find that when i get long winded in my analysis about a stock or the market and focus on the complexity, i don't do as well. for me, when things appear complex, it's best not to try to make a call. step back and wait for clarity.

ameritrade or suretrade or someone similar a couple years ago had a great ad, i thought, on tv. it was a picture of the floor of nyse in a total blur. then the blur came into focus and they said (paraphrase) "for those rare moments of clarity we're here to execute your trades".

so: "does this appear to be one of those rare moments of clarity"? is a good question.

Earlie,

Do you... uh... Yahoo!?

I like today's action on Yahoo. It could be worse. I'm not selling back any poots because if Yahoo can't participate today, it will get throttled when we get a good down day.

Some of the kinky gogo stocks are really moving today. I didn't think I'd get another chance to poot 'ol Softie, but maybe pretty soon. I got my eye's on INTC, ORCL, etc also. I'm going with the big cap techs because I think they have the most giving to do and confessions should be interesting over the next few weeks.

Timing? Just don't know. Now seems good, but we could keep this going for tomorrow for all I know.... ease in is the best strategy I guess....
