CNBC crowd nervously reassuring each other that it's really OK now. They can't believe the market's reaction to YHOO -- didn't everyone already know they'd preannounce for 2001? Mark Haines actually said the market is less risky now. No fear.

Well, since I posted the about it being spooked, the buck went on to lose again as much, going from -.4% to -.8% and would seem to have fallen definitively out of its countertrend consolidation.

It was the BofE up at bat today. They have left rates unchanged.

Hard to imagine what AG can come up with if equities do not turn around.
