I like your strategy. In fact, perhaps the most interesting thing about this game is the different ways people choose their numbers. Yours is based on time, some forge straight ahead with consecutive numbers, some choose "famous" numbers like 69 or 666, and then there is 549 which I will leave to mr.mark to explain. In any case, notwithstanding my affection for 516, it is not the number I was thinking of. As to your three questions (1) No; (2) Perhaps; and (3) No, but it is always the same number.
