Steve,

Have you finished up that degree yet? Which Micron do you think he was talking about?

Who is clueless here? In case you didn't know, memory goes into PC's. Box builders that move volume will create demand for memeory. Box builders that build low margin, commodity machines with low margin, commodity memory technology had better sell high volumes lest they (and their suppliers) go kaput. Box builders that build value added machines, with value added technologies and components contained within, are much less volume sensitive. Gross margin is not independent of unit volume, despite what many "wise ones" may think.

Micron Electronics is a subsidiary of MU. This is how the whole myth of DDR "design wins" has been promulgated. I could go on and on about this, but will stop here, as I have no more time to educate you.

Hi Steve Lee; Re: "Seems to be as clueless as you. The Micron he is referring to is not MU.

The price of MUEI is around $5, while the price of MU is around $40. Since the author was talking about the price of "Micron" sticking around $30 to $40, he was clearly talking about MU, not MUEI. He's an idiot.
