Starving artists are preferable to starving kids. Both liberals and conservatives should call on Bush to abolish the NEA.

It is possible to fund both artists AND kids. And it is possible not to fund large sugar producers, and fund large bogus highway projects- but it all depends on who is in power, and how they want to spend the money. It always comes down to that.

The money spent on art is negligible, btw.
