claude, apparently the commonly held belief, about Avanex's poor performance the other day, was from the news of Hitachi getting the Global Crossing long haul contract. Long haul doesn't represent, the main mkt Avanex sells optical equipment to. The Metro mkt. is where the action is going. Avanex's equipment shines in this sector. Claude, technically everyone trades, because at some point, everyone has to make a trading move to buy, and eventually to sell, even in their long term positions. I consider, my ten year hold positions, as a long term swing trade. Because of Avanex's expected growth rate,I hope the ten year ride will be, like riding a high preformance stock, for ten years. A ride like that will really swing. shaw
