Mike,

ALA has about $30B worth of Revenues.

NOK and MOT dominate the cellular business.
Even "IF" ALA missed your 20M
estimate by 10%, we're talking about a rounding
error on Revenues; and probably not even a
rounding error on earnings.

In any large company, some products and services
grow faster than estimates, some slower. These are
best guesses made by people after all. It's not
as if they were some god given absolute.

Your question didn't disturb me, no apology necessary.
... just as I won't apologize for stating my opinion here.
<g>

Ian.

Hello Mike and all, FWIW I remember ALA stating sometime in the last few months that they would hit their handset target. Hoping for some good news from ALA at the end of the month. Seems they've been signing contracts at a record pace...should bode well for forward projections?

Still holding all my ALA stock and some MAR 70 calls...thinking of doubling the call position, but pretty gun shy<g>.

regards,
