Baker said he's doubtful that the Pentium 4 will be able to match its predecessor's numbers anytime soon.

Dave, re: what does that represent of desktop-only shipments, IYO?

In November DQ said 1 in 4 PC's shipped are now laptop's. If my math is correct, that would make P4 ~20% of total desktops in 2001 and 25% of Intel desktops. (Assuming 80% DT share for Intel). Pretty aggressive, considering where they're starting from. (I'm leaving in a hurry here, so you better check my math). <VBG>
