Hi Bruce - yes, the power situation is getting precarious. I wonder how the NW is going to deal with the dam situation [there has been a de-damming movement going on] In the NE, the MA congressional delegate is gunning for the plant operators

My guess is that the new administration will win a round to drill in the Alaskan Wildlife Reserve. Maybe I should book a trip out there before it all goes away <VBG>!

Just who in the hell did they think was going to pollute their air to sell them power at a 75% discount. It takes a lotta damn gall to stick ones head in the sand and expect others to carry your load. (sic)

I heard an interview yesterday with, I believe, a California congressman who said that our (CA's) energy policy has been "to pray for nice weather."
