Yep. He definitely revised his expectations downward from 50-60 to 30-50 again. I think this was a wise decision given the uncertainties in the market.

Yes I heard that. I think he was playing very conservative yesterday and is looking out and warning of the possibilities. He has to do that. He has been very good about guidance in the past and I expect that from him in the future. Boy it sure is gonna be fun to listen to the next CC! It's funny but I've listened to over 20 consecutive CC's with them and it still comes down to forward guidance!

Anyway I think the 30 to 50% is way to conservative, especially when you look forward a year. They amazed me three years ago when their growth rates ramped up. Everybody was saying it couldn't happen to a company of it's size but they proved just about everyone wrong.

Will the slowdown in the economy affect Cisco, yes but the degree will be less than a lot of people think. I think to understand that you have to understand what Cisco sells.

And very few people do.
