Yeah... perhaps Canuck Dave should read that! Actually however this is part of a transition plan for NT. They're dumping "old world commuincations" jobs that support circuit switching and hiring "new world communications" jobs that support optics and what not. This dovetails with spending at the carriers.

I saw the story a hour ago and with their switch business falling off a cliff I guess it was to be expected. They should do better than LU who will probably get creamed with their next earnings announcement.

As if there wasn't enough damage done.

I'm just so thankful Cisco doesn't have those problems.
