Curtis,

It's part of a natural migration for NT. It's what most of us have been talking about for months if not longer here.. that capex is effecting old world equipment purchases not newer optical/IP infrastrucutre sales.... at least not as much anyway :) So, NT is transitioning to bring in staff to execute against growth markets while they slow down in non-growth areas. Fortunately for CSCO they don't have this exposure to legacy infrastructure. They are extremely well positioned which is why that yahoo from CIBC has no credibility when he says CSCO will not capitalize on the "changes in communications". There is no better positioned company out there.... Yes, the entire thing could fall off a cliff but that's not what he suggested... he said CSCO couldn't capitalize. What a clueless statement. When someone makes a comment like that it demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge regarding the industry and the players thereby discounting any conclusions he could make... which is why CSCO barely reacted to that report.
