till when though...and also, if they are saying that (and a certain euphoria seems to be back), doesn't that mean we are in fact going down?

HOWEVER Dan Niles of Lehman Bros. says (now get this) "ignore Fed rate cuts, focus on falling demand and continued high valuations. We would continue to sell on the rallies." this is on the SEMI's which, i believe, is showing the best TA. another name to the Shite List aka #1 Blodgett. looks like the I.I. is finally starting to ignore these ANAL-ISTS 8-}
GO LONGS
cheers

At this point, DUUUHHH! seems redundant. I listen to the analysts these days for comic relief. Unfortunately, the effect that they can have on the individual investor that actually listens to them is not funny.

After nine months finally unloaded my UIS. Bought at 26 then all the way down at 9, now out with only a small loss. Once had a $12,000 loss on it. Whew! Might have sold too soon but it hit my sale price. Now hoping for a sell-off so I can get more goodies on dips. Holding all telecoms and wireless.

So is QCOM...trading like it's got a warning in it's future. Careful, there's still some landmines out there. And now that CNBC has sounded "the call" look for the herd to barge in and you know what the Po boys do when that happens...

Rande, yesterday I made a comment about the NDX trading range, today we came within a whisker of closing at the high end number. I would liked to have seen a close above 2525, but serious money was made today nonetheless..
""I play the NDX, the trading range is 2074-2525, if either is surpassed, then the picture would be a little clearer.""
NDX closed @2524.13
Not too bad....

As usual, the media/anal-ysts will call the turn<g> Bunch of f*cking morons they are.

Rande, be careful (LOL!) with that Capital Area Internet Service stock (read the first letter in each of those words to get the stock symbol.....trying to stay below the radar screen in mentioning this stock).

That company is my ISP, and so far I am still not getting billed for my excellent year 2001 internet service. Think they must have laid off the bookkeeper and cleaned out the accounts-receivable department???? Should be reflected in profit/loss statement later. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the free ride.

On another topic...., if the telecoms are truly going to keep on going up, might I suggest to the group that long-term investors consider FON.....nice dividend being paid there and a reasonable valuation for the company, so far. Hope FON doesn't cut that dividend like T did, though.
