Just look at the top gainers. How could anyone pass up these bargains? NOW, if the economy was in ANY trouble at all, then I could see some hesitation. But with the economy in such historical great shape, just buy, buy, buy! We all know that the earnings reported over the past 2 years have been "pure" earnings -- no funny business going on at all. We all know that on a corporate and personal level no one is carrying any debt (okay, forget that AT & T carries about as much debt as the value of the company -- they get a pass because they are going to spin something else off which will make them worth more each time). Plus, we all know that those that loaned the money are certainly going to get it all back with interest -- Companies would never loan money to smaller, not-so-solid companies just so they could sell equipment and software to them. That would be ludicrous! Todays big winners -- remember, think value here (these figures were with about 2 minutes to trade left --- ***Note that historically, and by that I mean within the past 12 months (who needs any history back further than that -- it's a new economy), these PE's should be a minimum of 250-1600): SDLI +5.5% PE-159 JNPR +10.84% PE-411 WEBM +17% PE-none because they are losing money, but having a good time doing it EMLX +12.4% PE-153 NEWP +10.8% PE=126 (screaming value buy here!) MERQ +12.4% PE-120 (how did I miss this near liquidation?) CMVT +9.1% PE-79 (prime takeover with this ridiculous PE) BLDP +13.87% PE-none because they are losing money, but having a good time doing it EMKR +19.66% PE-none because they are losing money, but having a good time doing it NTIQ +10.79 PE-none because they are losing money, but having a good time doing it VRSN +9.9% PE-none because they are losing money, but having a good time doing it
