Edit out the whole post, I shouldn't say anything until I find the curriculum guide. OK, found it. We have AP classes and IB classes for the same courses, Literature, Physics, Calculus and so on - I don't know which is tougher, but Ben is in the IB program. Economics is just a half semester elective, not taught on any advanced level. Taking Micro and Macro as AP electives makes a lot of sense. The course I took in college that I really think should be taught in high school is symbolic logic.
