The future of SMS is a question of market penetration. 3210 and 3310 have topped at least 40 million in sales. They have picture-messaging and other Nokia messaging features. How long would it take to reach that penetration with Ericsson/Sagem pre-paid models? How about 5 years? It's not immediately obvious whether the market needs more messaging platforms. Doesn't look like AOL's IM rivals have much success in challenging that particular headstart. Tero
