Don, not trying to put you on the spot, and I certainly WON'T hold you accountable, but just reviewing the threads and looking at your "we should finish in the mid-range" by Fed-meeting theory....my thought is: we might overshoot tomorrow (and into Monday)...but at some point, the pressure should ease (short-covering), and a small rally (one day, two day- don't know) occur into Fed meeting...

I would think, then, if this is the real thing (selloff) that the selloff would then CONTINUE post-Fed.....my point:
There should be a small recovery rally before Fed meeting..
regardless of what the do. The extent of rally will depend on how far we overshoot on downside (on middle on your index)

Just a theory...

Of course, tomorrow morning will be very ugly..and possibly whole day...
