I don't mind dirty jokes or ribald humor - the ones that offended me the most had to do with Ashcroft's religious beliefs. They have a right to free speech and I have the right to be nauseated.

It's important in any war to dehumanize the enemy. Saw one today showing pictures of Bush juxtaposed with pictures of monkeys.

I know - it took awhile to sink in. I feel so shocked and sickened, like you said.
