Wow! That address by Justice Thomas is incredible! It gives me so much pleasure to read it today after so many shallow and foolish people have publicly mocked Justice Thomas, a man of superior intellect and superior understanding. It demonstrates that, even though he is aware of the ironies, even the hypocrisies, that marred the founding of our nation when it came to slavery, he still understands that the promise of freedom for all was there, and that it would be kept. As the old saying goes, "The dogs bark, the caravan passes on." If I figure out how to get a boy to read serious stuff rather than playing games, I will let you know.
