The economy is still about people. GTW and HP troubles combined do not affect anywhere near the no of people affected by bad times at Chrysler or GM. Auto industry effect is much more than PC's and printers. if people hold off buying a pc or a printer for their study, they're tight on money. If they hold back on buying that latest auto model that everyone will see them driving, they're really in bad $$ straights! And with Coke having layoffs, well, maybe this really is getting bad. Victor
