Monty, I think I accepted some of that already and for the last number of months I've been trying to get the thread to a reasonable tone. Bambs suggested that (at the begining of the year) he too would do the same. In this case he appeared to be looking for a fight. I can't help but note that most of our "discussions" have been one way as well. I also believe I asked you to take on a similar resolution for the new year at which you scoffed if I do recall. So, yes, things were said in the past.... at what point do we put them behind us? I think some on the thread have done that while others haven't. Your shot This thread is a TOTAL joke and you and Ed sure helped it get there. doesnt' heal any wounds it just creates more. Your comment Every time I go long I drift over here and it scares the hell out of me. is devisive and biased. Not that being biased is a bad thing but when you're biased and you think everyone else should be biased the same way and if they're not they're a "joke" .. well, that doesn't make for much of a conversation. I can't help but notice most folks trying to keep things calm at the outset..... So, while it's easy to lay blame what we've been trying to do is get the thread back on track and have reasonble discussions. I think what makes things interesting in this world is to have different views - what makes us adults is that we can discuss them without degenerating into a playground. OG
