QQQs don't close until 4:15, so they probably caught the HWP warning.

The closing QQQ price reflects only one trade, and is frequently not representative of where QQQ was really trading at the close. It's not unusual for the NDX and QQQ to show as much as a percentage point difference in daily gain, but it's really just random noise from all I can see.
