Normally a Hillary run in 2004 would not scare me. But I thought a Clinton second term was an improbable event and her election in N.Y. mildly surprised me. Throw in a viable third party run by someone like Jesse Ventura and the power of some of the bigger liberal states and the unthinkable might happen.

ebill,

I got to agree with ya. George W.s father was very concillatory and it
got him nowhere in 1992. I think the guy kissed demo-butt far too
much and actually put off many Republicans (like me, I voted Bush
in '88 but not in '92 because of it).

Well, we don't have to worry about re-election for a while so we shall
see how it goes. He seems to think he can unite us. The Demos
appear to want to continue the personal destruction ways of the past.
