in Europe we have always watched in awe the mass paranoia of the American public

The farther you are from the "enemy" the easier it is to imagine them as baby-eating three-horned monsters. You think paranoia is bad now, wait until the first (wo)manned mission to Mars brings back evidence of life. Within two years the planet will bristle with missiles like an over-excited porcupine.

Rajala, a/k/a "Dumb and Dumber", please answer one question. From where exactly does Finland get its oil-based products, including all the plastic that Nokia uses to make cell phones?

Is it self-sufficient or does any of it come from the Arabian Gulf? If from the Arabian Gulf, thank your lucky stars that the US military protects that vital source.

Ever hear of the word "Finlandization"? Know what it means? It means that a nation agrees not to challenge the foreign policy of a much larger nation, no matter how horrible, in exhange for its sovereignty. It puts up and shuts up in exchange for being left alone. In other words, it compromises its principles. Not the way we do things in the US.

Moron.
