Does anyone know where to get up to date short interest information for individual stocks, not the delayed info from last month, but up to the minute or day info?

Given INTC's resilience in the face of some very negative ANALyst reports, HWP, GTW, MOT, YHOO etc., etc. I am wondering if a short covering rally may ensue following earnings announcement (similar to the short covering rally that took place after INTC pre-announced in December).

thanks in advance,

GV,

<I think that there is no one that can reliably predict an entire market. There aren't too many people that can reliably predict individual stocks.>

Agreed.

But, investing is always forward-looking. Whenever one puts money in a stock, he/she predicts the stock will make him/her money. So, investing is inherently a prediction business. Some people make it. Many people lose it. What's your basis on which you invest in the stock market in general and in a stock in particular?

BTW, the guy in the article made great investment (speculation, if you will) sense, save the techie part. I would stop this OT topic here. I read your articles at your home page and enjoyed it. Good ones.

Regards,
