No surprise, Tom, based on the MM jockeying I saw before. And there's even more bidding interest now, althought there's also apparently plenty of supply between here and the low .50s. Hey, am I allowed to mention GUMM on this thread? With a market cap of around $100 million, it fits many people's definition of a "microcap" even though it's 9-1/8 x 9-3/8. Makers of Zicam cold remedy (through a joint venture), a soon-to-be-announced (IMO) Crest Dental Gum for Procter & Gamble and a forthcoming nicotine gum for Swedish Match (SWMAY). It has nausea-inducing volatility but is awfully cheap for the long-term, especially if their new investment banker Credit Suisse First Boston initiates coverage with a "Buy" or better. I won't mention it again here because of the high price, but I figured once would be OK <g>. -Eric

I just spoke with Ron Thomas at ATCC. They are at the roll out stage of new product. It has received phenomenal response at the trade shows. He said there will be a news release when the product begins to ship. His take on the market action these last few days is that the stock got hammered during tax selling, and it is rising as investors who took their losses for 2000 come back into the stock after waiting out the tax wash sale rule period. --Coz
