The center wheel rotates to scroll and when pushed down displays a pie shaped menu

Yes,the Web Wheel.I've used the Logitech Mouseman + for sometime now and really like it.

I'm an early adopter(Direct Satellite TV first day on the market 1994)so when I started reading about optical just had to get one.:)

I guess I'm going through the learning curve with different brands and models but I like the concept and after returning the Mouseman Wheel optical and buying the smaller one I had no hangups but the smaller size was a deterrent.

I'll find the right one,I'm sure.

Ed

<. The only complaint is that when entering text the cursor sometimes jumps somewhere else for no apparent reason. >

I had that problem until I discovered it happens when a sleeve or a finger inadvertently touches the touchpad. Covered it with a business card and the problem went away.
