GV, Thanks..that's what I thought but it never hurts to ask.

regarding the magnitude of short interest, I agree that the total short interest as % of total float is small not only for INTC but for almost all stocks. However, in my experience this does not mean it is meaningless. This is because a significant % of the shortsellers will try to cover at the same time (as they see stock moving up) thus creating a temporary and short lived jump in the price. It is this temporary blimp I am interested in as I look to sell more covered calls in my attempt to save myself from the abyss.
