Dave we discussed that in the room today.. How will JNPR, MUSE, CIEN,SANM, BRCM, NTAP, SEBL fare? Our opinion was we will have quite a haircut in that group than we will be back to normal. We chose a lot of the former POS stocks today and much of this week like CFLO, CORV NUAN EPNY, PVTL WEBM IWOV. And some that were really scalped like MERQ and MUSE but the blimps didn't really fall this week although there was strong weakness in patches today in JNPR, MUSE SEBL and SANM. Next week will probably also bring a move up for the biotechs/pharmaceuticals, probably in reaction to some sell offs in the blimps that report. I think our best chance for gains will be around the last week in January, towards the end of the month when 90% of the companies will have reported, and maybe both the fed will step in the earnings problems will be of lower priority until the next quarter.
