There's still the CPI (1/17) and the ECI (1/25) before the FOMC meeting. I think Uncle Al is partial to the ECI.

That's the reasoning I would have expected. So, we now have the prospect of deteriorating fundamentals against a backdrop of interest rates that are falling but at a slow to moderate pace. I see my beloved EMC off 5. I hope it can get back to 59 soon. For the rcord, I think Carpino's cycle inverted-- no low today, this IS the high, and we go down or sideways from here.
