yep. it's also the day of the OPEC meeting. if they go through with cutting output, we could get a brief fling to the upside in crude. note also that the mid East remains on the brink of war. the situation continues to deteriorate, as it looks now like Sharon will win the election. it's possible Barak begins a fight with Hezbolla in South Lebanon to improve his chances...otherwise, if Sharon wins, confrontation with the Palestinians is virtually assured, and could get easily out of control. something to keep an eye on. likewise, the Japanese market looks like it may be close to a capitulation sell-off.
