If the indictment is for violating DC law at the time of the deposition, then DC is the venue. Clinton knows he would never be convicted by a DC jury. That's why he put DC Statehood plates on the White House cars last month, that's why he bought a DC house this month.

I'd love to see the matter tried in the Eastern District of Virginia. The Old Dominion, with two Republican Senators, a Republican governor and a majority of Republicans in the state house and the federal house.
