If Thomas Weisel is basing his conclusions on the size of NUFO's market, that's relative and we need more information. Is the size changing? Is anyone taking NUFO's share? Is there pricing pressure? And most importantly, will they make numbers? Based on their last CC, business was robust. They haven't warned, so I have to believe they'll meet expectations.

From the 10-Q:

In the three-month period ended October 1, 2000, Corvis Corporation, Agilent Technologies, and Corning Incorporated accounted for 22.1%, 12.6%, and 12.0% of our net revenues, respectively.

I take comfort in the fact LU is not among their top customers. As for the others, GLW is the only one I'm confident will make numbers. The other two I don't follow. If anyone does, please comment.

NUFO reports on Jan. 30 and two of their largest customers report before then: GLW on Jan. 24, and CORV on Jan. 25. Agilent doesn't report till Feb. 20. I'll be watching carefully.
