I'm in the area of environmental studies floating between economics and geography. We actually call this area "ecological economics" - I'm the treasurer of the Australia/NZ chapter of the International Society for EE. A lot of what I do is econometric modeling - mainly time series. I'm finishing up a paper with a former PhD student on residential energy demand in Australia and completing the estimation on a model of technological change in United States agriculture which I am working on with a colleague back in Boston. There's lots of other stuff in the to do pile, in process etc :) Broadly, I cover production economics through climate change time series modeling....

I'm also busy applying for jobs. Mainly in the US. That's where I did my PhD and taught for a while at Boston U.
