There is one big difference here, though.

Last quarter when ARBA reported, its stock was north of
100, but this time around, it is around 40. Certainly,
street was not looking for a repeat of that kind of
performance.

I think ARBA delivered a great quarter considering
the market condition and the penalty it took in the
last 3 months. On the other hand, I also think ARBA
should be a little bit more upfront about what is going
to happen in the future.

Cat: The trajectory of growth is indeed slowing rapidly -- as anyone sensible might expect. The only thing that surprises me is the reaction here -- many seem to want to believe that the market reaction today was an aberration -- a mistake that will soon be corrected. It looks fully valued already to me. Good luck.

So what I'm saying is, today's sell-off should have come as no surprise.

My opinion is many of the investor did not understand the report too well. Give it a few trading days. I listened to their conference call and looked at deferred revenue. I also see the accounts receivable going up likely due to slower payments from customers. That is a liquidity issue in IT spending that hopefully will go the other way now.
