Scott,

<< The font issue is only with certain browsers on certain OS's (ie 5.5 on win 98 but not 2000) >>

That is true ... I've taken a lot of feedback publicly and privately today.

But ... it is not just ie 5.5 on win 98 that is affected.

SI needs to get back to square one.

Then leave fonts alone till larger issues are resolved and we are stable.

Please.

I've got the font problem with IE5.0 and Win2000.

Can't you just put it back the way it was yesterday afternoon, please?

The font issue is only with certain browsers on certain OS's (ie 5.5 on win 98 but not 2000) -

it is also a problem on Windows ME.

Scott, I am using Win 98 and IE 5.00. When viewing 10 messages at a time, the font for the messages is being changed to Times Roman (or some other serif font). It should be (and was, prior to these font problems) Verdana on my system.

When viewing SubjectMarks the type face doesn't change, but it is a bit larger and now results in the date/time column taking up 2 rows instead of one. It was taking only 1 row a couple of days ago. Thanks, yaker.

Hi Scott

I realize that SI’s programmers have been busy with the site but I have noticed something that I’m not sure is an oversight or just a continued effort by the programmers.

In New SI mode profiles with added HTML work just fine but in Classic mode they don’t work.

Thanks in advance

Reid

<<The font issue is only with certain browsers on certain OS's (ie 5.5 on win 98 but not 2000) - there are many users that are not seeing the smaller font. However, I assure you this is a top priority to fix>>

Fonts have been screwed up for 3 days now. Can the priority be increased?

Also, since IE5 on Win98 is probably THE most common platform, wouldn't it be reasonable to do a little testing on that combination before dumping changes onto the users?

It's not like these font bugs are subtle. They're widespread, obvious, and quite annoying.
