Thank you Sarmad: I am doing what I can and avoiding hyped-out situations. Craig did influence my thinking by posting his call for a rally to 3000 -- which is becoming more reasonable all the time. Thanks for the post - have a relaxing and satisfying weekend -- all the best.

Actually I got through the day almost unscathed, except for an unfortunate, ill-timed move on (ahem...) Ariba. I know, I know. You warned me. But no, I had to rush right out at the open and buy at 38.

Sarmad,

The market reaction to Ariba does not concern me now. It did earlier in the day but I believe management did a good job and was conservative on their forward looking statements. Their accounting is still conservative. That may change and that may concern me.

But anyway, I had expected a massacre today, but I survived with a small nick.

I did buy SUNW, NT, COMS, and ADCT. And holding on to EXDS and LSI and the rest of the semi menagerie.

I was fortunate with a nice up day.
