Re ARBA, CREE, RMBS and being bullish:
What I envision is a move into high-quality growth stocks, not a flight to speculation. I'm bullish to the extent that valuations seem reasonable in that area, even in a moderately recessionary environment. The recent modest declines in utilities support my view, i.e., money moving out of the most defensive issues and into top-tier, blue-chip growth names (not limited to tech, by the way).
If lower rates refire the speculative frenzy, you'll have even more short position or put possibilities, if you so choose.
For 2001, bulls will focus on quality.
All just my opinion.
