Security Biometrics Welcomes Dave McLay to Its Advisory Board
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2001--Security Biometrics Inc. (OTCBB:SBTI - news; www.sigbio.com), a company positioned ``to make security applications for banking and financial transactions simple, natural and effectively secure,'' is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave McLay as a member of their advisory board.

``Given his abundant experience as a former R.C.M.P. officer, Dave brings a wealth of organizational, communicative, and investigative skills to our organization,'' George Gould, President of Security Biometrics, Inc., stated. ``Dave's law enforcement exposure provides him with excellent credentials to serve the role of industry liaison.''

Superintendent McLay served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from 1957 until his retirement in May 1994. Among his prominent positions, McClay has served as an Officer in Charge of Community Policing and Crime Prevention of the Province of British Columbia, as Officer in Charge of Chilliwack Detachment, and Officer Commanding Chilliwack Sub/Division; a command he held until retirement. McLay also served as President of the British Columbia Association of Chiefs of Police.
