I had a great cable service here. One time it timed at 1.8 megs! But, the cable company lost the company who was doing the isp. So they decided to do it themselves. The service slowed down considerably when they made the change. I'd say it worked as good as a good 56k (which I've never had good 56K). I complained to the cable company. They sent over the same networking guy who worked for the other isp company. He just treated me like I'm stupid and told me it is working fine at 60K download speed. So that motivated me to go ahead and get this dish now. Always wanted it, so I could move back out in the country. I've talked to the guy who installed the dish. He told me my speeds are totally unacceptable. He is going to call me this afternoon. BirdDog
