Re: FCC Auctions thru 49th round

Net bids in the PCS license auction at the FCC reached $15.5 billion at the close of the 49th round Friday afternoon. Verizon Wireless is still at the top of the big-spenders list with $7.8 million in net high bids.

#2 = Alaska Native Wireless (AT&T) - $2.5B

#3 = Salmon (Cingular) - $1.8B

#4 = DCC (Dobson) - $.96B

#5 = Voicestream 1 = $.58B

#6 = Cook Inlet (Voicestream) = $.49B
