Duke - from everything I can see, CPQ is even more aggressive in creating new server product than they are in the consumer space - they dominate the 4 and 8 way markets. That is where the 40% revenue gains have been coming from.

I don't think CPQ is hanging its hat on 64 bit until McKinley, and they have been very close to MSFT in the past on that development. They seem to be focused more on the "edge of the web" strategy, and are probably the biggest backers of .NET architecture, which plays to CPQ's distributed vision.

I'm looking for some very exciting server stuff from CPQ over the next 12 to 18 months.
