Our long national disgrace is about to end. Honor and decency will return to the Oval Office. For the next four years we'll know the definition of "is". I won't mind a bit being held accountable for those "misdeeds". JLA

He's leaving office but he's not leaving. Since he will never stop campaigning, we can't stop reminding people why he's not to be respected.

What in heck are you Republicans going to do with yourselves after Clinton leaves office?

As a woman are you not proud that YOUR PRESIDENT wont be spending most of his time SKIRT CHASING and trying two bit penny ante schemes to DEFRAUD the Nation for his PERSONAL benefit. Are you not proud of that Wonderful Cabinet YOUR PRESIDENT is assembling to assure the very HIGHEST QUALITY of management of our Nation. Yes, you have MUCH to be PROUD of in YOUR PRESIDENT. Abortion Turnaround

In what would be another sharp reversal of Clinton administration policy, Bush signaled that he was inclined to use an executive order to stop the flow of American money to any international organizations that provided abortions in foreign countries.

``Organizations that promote abortions are organizations I don't want to support'' with taxpayers' dollars, he was quoted as saying.

Patricia C. Trinchero,

Historical fact: Most major wars are started under Democratic presidents.

Iraqi/Gulf War - Bush - Repub.
Vietnam - Kennedy - Dem.
Korea - Truman - Dem.
WWII - Roosevelt - Dem.
WWI - W. Wilson - Dem.

An oddity is that the military always downsizes under Democratic presidents and rebuilds under Republican presidents.

Btw, George W. Bush will be the first president with an MBA, and the 2nd pilot. His father was the first.
