Your post:

<< Clinton needs to be punished for what he did to the Office >>

He did little damage to the office. Most of the damage was done because of the unrelentless attack on him by his cultist enemies.

<< he was elected to serve and the Constitution and laws (not to mention ethics and morals) he shredded. >>

What is the big deal? He had a very healthy and normal sexual experience in the WH. That wasn't the first time that was done, and it won't be the last time. In fact, after four long years, coming up, of having witch doctors and radical fundamentalists running around the WH, the public will be sorry that they didn't have another Clinton administration.

I beg your pardon, it is NOT about sex! Why can't people understand this? It is about the lies about it, plus all the other shady occurrences during his administration, to name a few:

Fundraising
Chinese connection WRT state secrets
Gore + Russia
Lincoln Bedroom

Disgusting. Thank goodness we have the laws and our Constitution to defend us against the situational ethics of your ilk. I hope you don't let your kids read the drivel you post. Clinton is a grease stain on our Constitution and the Office he was elected to serve. Soon to be expunged. JLA

Gee Barry I went through your parsed reply to jlallen I think I found many holes in your reply.

jl << Forgiveness comes only after real remorse. >>
barry???Are you making up the rules of forgiveness to fit the situation? Do you feel that only cultist conservatives can know real remorse?

The rule of God is that unless one is sorry one does not get forgiven. This is a simple concept and I don't see it as cultist. There may be some religion's that profess that you do what you want and don't care as God does not care and you are forgiven. I'm not personally familar with the religions of liberal democrats like clinton.
I personally don't need to forgive Clinton as I have no authority over him. I have not judged clinton in the sense that I have not affected any aspect of his life. Based on Clinton's repeated acts and words that demonstrate the he follows no rules of conduct of honesty that I can identify would lead me not to allow Clinton to have any authority that could effect me.

You also mention remose and you said.
>>We don't really know that, but we do know that he was sorry that he got caught! <g>
I think one can conclude from the published recent comments that clinton is not sorry for what he did as he contends that he did nothing wrong and that he is owed an apology for being wronged. I also do not with certainty kmow that he is sorry he got caught. The man has exhibitionous tendecies.

>>He did little damage to the office. Most of the damage was done because of the unrelentless attack on him by his cultist enemies.

The intangible damage he caused is difficult to measure. The perception of effective leadership of America with a President who is honest has what value. OPEC has determined what deference should be shown.

I watched tens of hours of testimony in the impeachment hearings and trial and it is clear to me that Clinton lied under oath and obstructed justice and enlisted other help to those ends. The full scope of crimes committed fully in the public eye with contempt for those trying to get and bring justice is a massive undermining of the rule of law. I believe that all should be held accountable and in the case where contempt and denial is apparent then the letter of and the full weight of the law should be applied.

>>What is the big deal? He had a very healthy and normal sexual experience in the WH.

It was not a big deal until Clinton as the president from the White House publicly stated in effect that Monica Lewinsky was a liar for all the world to hear including her parents. He engaged his minions to spread the word that Monica was out of control lusting after him. This is not very healthy and normal honesty to be accepted from anyone. Just because Clinton is president I don't think that he should ge a walk automatically either.

Robert Barry, the man who once stated that "he would be proud to have his daughter give Clinton a blow job". I notice you have changed your profile. Let's see, what is a senior family planning specialist? Is that an abortion clinic?
How long have you lived in Dallas? What happened to Florida? Come to think of it, your vote does not count for very much in Texas. Do you have any problems relating to all of those Bush voters in Dallas?
