ild, I feel that leaving a GTC order open is like telling other players in a poker game what you are holding. But there are also some practical, non paranoid reasons for avoiding them. What I don't like is that fundamental news could come out that would make me like the stock's prospects more or less. I want to be able to judge that info before placing an order or deciding not to place an order.
