A couple of posts on Yahoo thread starting with this one indicates that the
roll-out in Korea starting in October was more like a trial due to "lack of
handsets of the right mode" for one thing. This suggests the MSM5105 story
might be right. Still they expect to "commercial" rollout "early next month"
and 200,000 subscribers mid year.

Despite suggesting October roll-out was a "trial" the rest of the story indicates that
"SKT said it expects to have 3
million subscribers to the new service by 2003. It has already secured a significant number of
subscribers since it launched a trial in October. "
