Another possible reason for Friday's strength: DLK held a special shareholder meeting the day before, on Thursday, the 11th. FWIW, there is speculation that DLK has some very positive announcements to make, but will not do so before the name change to Semotus Solutions, Inc. Makes sense.

BTW, very nice post, Libbyt.

Libby - Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful response.

It was my sense when I first bought DLK (how long ago was it??) that it had a lot going for it -- intellectual property, a good niche in an emerging space with unlimited growth potential, a dynamic CEO, a good business plan, and so forth. When it hit 80, I did think it had gotten ahead of itself, but not fully understanding the depth of that reality, I only sold enough shares in the mid-70's to "pay for the rest of the position" -- and ended up selling the rest at 13 and at 8 (at two points this fall before the bottom of the crash) to avoid the MP and to free up some cash to buy ASTN at sub-$2 and sub-$1 prices (eeeeeyyy-hah!!) I have been watching DLK periodically ever since (though I missed it when it started this last run up early last week). As I said, I finally bought 1,000 at 1 3/4 in late December, but now I am kicking myself for not going in a lot deeper (say 5 or 10K shares -- hindsight is so much better than seeing things beforehand!). I agree that it seems a bargain at 4 and change (OK, even better at sub-$2) with as many relationships as it has developed for its platform, and presuming there is more in the offing (as good companies tend to build off of existing customer relationships). I don't know the intricacies of the web to wireless space that well, but I agree that as a market sector, it looks very promising.

Thanks for the input - I think I'll look at the open on Tuesday and see how the AMEX specialists are playing it. If it backs off, I may watch it some more or jump in at dips, and if it continues to base or improve, I'll probably jump in quickly for a few thousand more. DLK's move has had some energy, but not quite the volume of ASTN's -- maybe just disbelief on the part of prospective that any tech company that had been hammered in price can come back -- I know I have had those emotions (even if only for a millisecond) with ASTN -- though my gut still tells me that with a promising development stage speculative play, the fundamentals will ultimately drive the price, and not the emotions of individual investors after a market driven price decline.

JMO as always. Thanks again. And good luck to all DLK longs.
