That shows you how far we have fallen.

At least we made history.

Allow me to point everyone to a year end Nasdaq target of 4300. It includes some good commentary from Gruntal's Chairman of Investment Policy, Joe Battipaglia:

gruntal.com

Excellent commentary on employment rates, interest rates, real rates, corporate earnings, cycles, consumer spending and portfolio sector rating for going forward. Not to worry, technology receives an overweighting status as it should.

I will have the pleasure to watch my first football game being broadcast live here in Europe for the first time in 6 years. The Vikings vs. the Giants. For warm up, we played the game on the Sony Playstation 2 this afternoon and the Giants crushed the Vikings thanks to my sons streak of onside kicks, trick plays and fine motor skills with the controls. So I'm hoping the Vikings can crush the Giants to get back at my son who was squealing with delight. <g>

Stolen off the SDLI thread:

Vinod Khosla's PowerPoint presentation on the future growth and development of the net:
kpcb.com
Mac users: I was able to view it on my PC at the office but not on my Mac at home. :(

Khosla talks about the "decomposed computer" with the operating system, applications and storage spread all around the net. Also places various companies in their niches which I found helpful.
